Service Assignments

Lieutenant Biddick was called to extended duty 29 September 1942 and assigned to the Second Air Force, Salt Lake City, Utah. He was then transferred, 6 October 1942, to the 411th Bombardment Squadron, 29th Bombardment Group, Gowen Field, Idaho. He next served with the 100th Bomb Gp, Geiger Field, Washington, and the 463rd Bomb Sq, 331st Bomb Gp, Casper Wyoming.
Finally, Lt. Biddick was assigned to the 418th Bomb Sq, 100th Bomb Gp, Wendover Field, Utah and departed the United States with that organization early in 1943 for duty in the European Theater.
In Service 1 year, 8 months and 25 days.

Lieutenant Biddick was killed in action 17 August 1943 while on a combat mission to Regensburg, Germany piloting a B-17 (Flying Fortress)
