Jan 1943 to Feb 1943; assigned to the 16th Quartermaster Training Regiment, Ft. Warren, Wyoming. Feb 1943 to Apr 1943; 2nd QM Tng Regt, Ft. Warren.
Apr 1943 to May 1943; assigned to the Army Specialized Training Unit, University of Wyoming, Laramie.
May 1943; Completed the Army Specialized Training Program, University of Wyoming.
May 1943 to Nov 1943; 16th Armored Supply Battalion, Camp Polk, Louisiana and Camp Chaffee, Arkansas.
Nov 1943; appointed Staff Sergeant, 352nd Quartermaster Corps, Railhead Company, Camp Chaffee, Ark.
and Camp Livingston, Louisiana, and sent overseas to serve with the Third Army in France.
In Service 2 years and 19 days.

Staff Sergeant Banks was killed in action January 10, 1945 during the battle of The Bulge.
