Military Training

Enlisted as Private in the Army of the United States, 14 November 1942.
Nov 1942 to Jul 1943, assigned to the Parachute School, Fort Benning, Georgia, for Infantry Basic Training as a member of Company E & Hq Co, 363 Infantry.
Mar 1943 to Jun 1944, trained as Light Mortar Crewman.
