Enrolled in the University of California, Davis, January 1936 Two-Year Curriculum-Dairy Industry
Completed Three Semesters in residence and withdrew to prepare for a musical career (was a baritone vocalist but enlisted after Pearl Harbor and became widely known later as the ‘flying protege’ of Bing Crosby.)
